As we celebrate the miracle of Easter, we remember the words of former Bishop Cate Waynick who said, “For there to be a Resurrection, something must first die.”

And on this beautiful Easter morning, as we wake up to the beauty of our ‘resurrected’ parish we recognize that which has passed away to make possible new life.  What a thing it is to be part of the Body of Christ!

Opportunities:

The Offertory during our worship service is much more than just ‘taking up the collection.’  The Offertory is the time to prepare for communion by celebrating our Oneness in Christ and with that in mind we will observe the Offertory by singing our favorite hymns!  Do you have a favorite?  Let us know!

Our Un-Choir is for anyone who likes to praise God through singing.  No experience necessary.  Come and sing with us!  See Mariane or Jim for detailsand rehearsals.

Morning Prayer is an important aspect of Episcopal worship and invites us to discover God in our midst.  Please consider being a Morning Prayer leader! See Marylee or Rev. Suzanne.

Please sign up to prepare and host an upcoming coffee hour.  Episcopalians are famous for our conversations and coffee!  The signup sheet is in the Parish Hall.  Help us extend our hospitality after the service.

A Giving Opportunity!  St. Paul’s supports the Center for Lay Ministries’ Food Pantry serving the food insecure in Clark County.  Look for the Little Red Wagon in the side door vestibule to leave your food contributions.  The Top 10 requested foods are: Peanut Butter, Soup, Canned Fruit, Beans, Rice, Tuna, Cereal, Fruit Juice, Pasta, and Canned Vegetables.

A Prayer for Our Parish

Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this parish family.  Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent.  Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
