A Story of Love, Endurance and Rebirth Within the St. Paul’s Family Beloved member Paul Fisher passed away in 2012 and the two lovely calla lilies were part of his funeral. Through the efforts of many people these lilies have been watered and nurtured and KEPT ALIVE all these years and when Mary Sue passed away earlier this month they became part of her funeral and are shown with the center lily in honor of Mary Sue’s life. Think of what the church (and our lives) has gone through the past decade: those who’ve come through our red doors, those who’ve left us, those still alive in our memories, all the upheaval wrought by the virus, all the joy and sadness and laughter and tears, and through it all THE LILIES HAVE BEEN THE ONE CONSTANT! What a story of hope and resurrection!

Please say a prayer for what’s on your heart and mind...
Lord, hear the prayers of thy people; and what we have asked faithfully, and
strengthen us to do thy will. Amen.
Thanks to Mariane, Phyllis, Luke and Jim for leading Morning Prayer yesterday. Rev. Suzanne is on vacation and will return August 7.
Why Morning Prayer? On those occasions when a priest is not available for Holy Eucharist the Church provides the lovely liturgy of Morning Prayer. It is said that our members are not bound by the specific things they believe but by the prayers we pray. Morning Prayer is an opportunity to focus on these prayers and on the liturgy that has held us together for over 700 years!
