Celebrate Easter at St. Paul’s

 

 

                 CALENDAR FOR THIS WEEK:

Thursday, March 28, Maundy Thursday

• 6:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday Service. Bishop Jennifer will be here, along with Fr. Allan Wallace and congregants from St. Paul’s New Albany. A reception will follow in Parish Hall.

 

Friday March 29, Good Friday

• Marylee will open the church from 1:00p.m.– 3:00p.m. for Quiet Reflection/Prayer

• 6:30 p.m. Good Friday Service with Rev. John Allen at 

St. Paul’s Jeffersonville.

 

Sunday, March 31, Easter Sunday

•  9:30 a.m. Coffee and donuts will be available in Parish Hall.

• 10:15 a.m. Easter Sunday service will celebrated by 

                Rev. Kirsten Guidero. 

 

          

 

 

 

**REMINDER ONGOING**

 

 

Collection of non-perishable food items for the Center for Lay Ministries.  Place items in the red wagon at the back of the sanctuary. They will be taken to CLM at the end of each month. 

The top 10 requested items are:

Peanut Butter, Soup, Canned Fruit, Beans, Rice, Tuna, Cereal, Fruit Juice, Pasta, and Canned Vegetables.

 

Project Water Step:

Everyone has a pair of old, worn-out, never-wear-again shoes.  Project Waterstep is a program that recycles shoes and uses the money to fund clean water projects in developing countries. 

The Water Step donation box is in the Parish Hall lobby. 

 

Thank you to everyone who helped pack the Easter baskets for Clark County Youth Shelter. It was so nice to have Ashley hereand to learn more about the program. 

 

Wednesday, April 3rd, there will be a “weed pulling” at 5:30 pm. Weeds have taken over around the church and they need to go.Dennis and Charlene along with Lisa and Bart will be here and would appreciate anyone who wants to help.
