Senior Warden Ben Sapp presents a check for $604 to Tiffany Mullinix, Director of Bliss House Residence for women in recovery. Assistant Director Stephanie Satterly is at left.
This check is the sum total of a freewill offering taken for Bliss House at last month’s Erin Hill Concert.
Bliss House is a refuge and 12- Step support program for women going through extraordinarily difficult times in their lives.
It was Erin Hill’s wish that proceeds from her wonderful concert go to programs that benefited women. St. Paul’s is happy to support Bliss House, a part of the Center for Lay Ministries.

Q & A from the BCP
Our Book of Common Prayer contains an Outline of the Faith (P.845-62) that forms a framework for the way Episcopalians look at God and God’s work in the World. Each week we will feature a couple of these questions and answers!
Q; What are we by nature?
A. We are part of God’s creation, made in the image of God.
Q. What does it mean to be created in the image of God?
A. It means that we are free to make choices: to love, to create, to reason, and to live in harmony with God.

Phyllis sent this and there’s no better benediction (blessing) for our daily lives and our relationships with those we know and those who we have yet to meet. What a thing it is to be a part of the Body of Christ!
