Baptisms are usually schedule for the four major Sundays for Baptisms in the church year (Easter, Pentecost, All Saints Day and the Baptism of Jesus). Preparation for baptism is required and may be scheduled with the clergy of the parish.
Baptism is the intitiation of an individual into the faith community and the beginning of their life becoming a dsiciple of Jesus and an active member of the Jesus Movement.
